Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – the best-connected in the UK

Tottenham Hotspur has this month opened one of the most technologically advanced stadiums in the world, designed with technology incorporated into the fabric of the building and its wider campus to enhance the fan experience, with free high-density Wi-Fi and mobile coverage in all areas.

That’s thanks to a strategy developed by the Club alongside Real Wireless and some of the world’s top communications equipment suppliers and installers.

Trains, ports and 5G automobiles

5G testbeds took centre stage at MWC, with Real Wireless involved in two major projects, both exhibiting at this year's event.

The UK's AutoAir 5G CAV testbed pulled in the crowds with the McLaren supercar acting as the perfect conversation starter. Whilst the 5G-MoNArch project proved that partnerships are key to 5G success, scooping a GSMA GLOMO award for best industry partnership for the Hamburg sea port testbed.

SCF World Summit & Awards

Real Wireless CTO Simon Fletcher has been named as a judge for this year's Small Cell Industry Awards. He will join a panel of industry experts and analysts to shortlist the awards, which take place on 21 May 2019.

Simon will also open the Small Cells World Summit in London from 21-22 May 2019, joining a market assessment discussion to kick off the event.

5G MoNArch testbed events

Registration is now open for two events to showcase the testbeds developed during the 5G MoNArch project.

The events, to be held in Turin in May and Hamburg in June, will focus on the touristic city and sea port testbeds.

Real Wireless worked on the techno-economic assessment of the 5G MoNArch architecture and use cases related to the testbeds throughout the project.
