A progressive 5G auction anyone??

Recent news of a 5G auction in Austria that won’t involve eye-watering sums has, not surprisingly, been greeted with a very positive response from commentators and analysts – not to mention operators. Austria’s Regulatory Authority for Broadcasting and Telecommunications (RTR) has made it very clear that it wants to establish an investment-friendly, liberal sharing framework for delivering world-class connectivity across the country.

Shared spectrum challenges

UK regulator Ofcom’s recent decision to make spectrum available for enterprise and alternative service providers is clearly a Good Thing. Private networks, new ecosystems

For 5G to mean more than eMBB, service providers need to be able to deliver very specific services to very specific verticals.
