However, its sister event the 5G Huddle tackled issues far closer to home and questioned whether the platforms associated with the 5G Era are capable of delivering on all the hype. AutoAir 5G transport project extendedReal Wireless will continue to be part of the AutoAir consortium, which has received a further £1.8m in funding from DCMS taking the total project investment from the government to nearly £6m. Mobile network operator O2 and consulting engineering firm Atkins have joined the project to accelerate the development of 5G-enabled intelligent transport systems.
